Identity based on the typographic modular system SuperVeloz, designed by Joan Trochut as a whole type system conceived to ease the printer’s work in the first half of the 20th century. SuperVeloz was an experimental type system based on a set of modular features that, when combined, form a great range of typefaces, letters and ornaments. Having borrowed from history, the challenge was to create our own visual language. We developed a personalised ‘AGI BCN’ alphabet creating a flexible system based on the initials of each speaker and guest. We pared down type and colour to let them shine, transforming the initials into the focal part of the campaign. With Mario Eskenazi, Pablo Martín, Andreu Balius and Patrick Thomas (AGI Spain).
